These are the stories I love to write. Most of the time, they’re stories about people and people have stories. They don’t have to be famous, infamous, entertainers or athletes. The subjects of feature stories can be you or me, your neighbor, the shop owner down the street, or a stranger. Or they can about a neighborhood bar that’s survived for decades and has stories to tell and local history to recall. If it’s a compelling story, chances are you will read it. My job is to tell the story well and I’ve done that throughout my career. These stories are among those I’m most proud of and I hope they show the passion I had in writing them.
