These types of articles are fun to write, too. Journalists are taught to keep opinions out of news stories. Most do a good job. Essays and columns, along with op-eds, are where opinions are expressed. As long as it is based on facts. I’ve written many columns that generated a good amount of likes, interests and reads, so I must be doing something right. Here are some examples.
