My career included the opportunity to branch out from journalism into content writing. Colorado Mountain College, a community college district in the central Rocky Mountains, asked me to help them celebrate their 50th anniversary. So I learned a lot about some of the college’s founders and longtime supporters, whose stories I transcribed from audio recordings. My independent career also afforded me the chance to ghostwrite a short biographical story of a woman who overcame much adversity to become a contributing member of society.
